    I was all for him being released until i saw that documentary the other week' he seemed to still be glorying in his exploits with no remorse at all not even for that teacher that he took hostage and was that traumatised he never worked again' unfortunatey i think that he would inevitably re offend.

    Even if he had a modicum of contrition or no history of reoffending he would have been out decades ago. He wasn't the most dangerous inmate for nowt.

    Theres no 'I think' about it. He'd cause serious damage in days and be back inside within no time.

    As much as he's created legend status (In some circles) the mans a loon and shouldn't be anywhere near the public.

    Think that’s his issue TBH he doesn’t show remorse and even now his appeal wasn’t I’m really sorry etc it was ‘it’s not fair on Mum for her not to see him released before she dies’ no remorse at all in there.

    I saw that, you can argue the where's and why-fors but there is absolutely no way he's going to integrate into society, someone will say the wrong thing to him in Morrisons and he'll knife 'em.
