Yeah exactly, I thought we actually outplayed them/Wycombe in the first half that day, and their keeper kept the scores level.
And bang, their first and only real shot at goal in the first half goes in, and somehow we were 0-1 behind at Ht.
But Ive no idea why we were so bad in the second half that day, and all their bullshi**ery tactics didn't get punished as much as they should have done.
I wouldn't cross the road to watch that sort of rubbish that Ainsworth has them playing, week after week.

Thought they were a one trick pony tbh, once Duff sorted the problem from their loanee out at half time they were very ordinary

Attempts at goal aren’t all clear cut chances though, yes they had openings to have a shot, but we’re they all clear cut chances? I don’t think so. Also, we had near misses as well. That header off the line was one.

Not sure about the best we've played' i thought Wycombe did their homework on us and put a right shift in' Charlton were a good hardworking team though especially first half.

Didn’t think much to em tbh , couple of decent individuals but team wise all over the shop with what seemed no plan in front of goal.
Thought Ipswich by far were the best side and imo will finish top two with very possibly Fowls snd Pompey close and my prediction for Champions .

Having watched it this morning after yesterday's comments on here I was expecting to see us outplayed in the furst half with Charlton missing a catalogue of straightforward chances.
I thought they had an excellent winger who disappeared after half time and had a few snatched, half chances.
We weren't brilliant but I thought looked well organised at the back and very nice moving through midfield.
    A good three points.

I'd say it was partly us sorting out at half-time and partly their manager for moving him inside - mind-boggling.

Of our 3 defeats, Plymouth's the only one I've walked out at the final whistle thinking 'fair dos', they were a much better footballing side than us on the day. Wycombe outfought, outthought and outsh!thoused us with a lot of experience but I see that as our particular form of Kryptonite and they won't do it to most. At Derby, we shot ourselves in both feet with the clangers from Collins and Kitching before taking them to the cleaners in the second half when we should have got a point.

On reflection, the best individual game performance I've seen is actually ours at the S6 'Sty.

I thought they were the best footballing side we have played so far, however woeful finishing in that first half let them down big time.
Duff did what was required at half time and our press and overall play seemed to snuff out those long diagonals, which were causing us problems.
I think Rotherham have taught us you don't need to have flair in this division...bit of pace a good finisher and above all be solid.
I mentioned a few weeks ago.... I like the Way Duff sets us up...we lost that particular game but the shape looks good and I'm sure his players will improve within his style and so will results.
    Great result yesterday.
