    RE: Ha! Londontown...

I never understood why Londoners moaned about public transport. Every piss poor place has a tub or train station. I used to commute from South Norwood to Brentwood on train and tube- 6 changes each way. So I'm planting my flgag in the moral highground on this one.

I read the Govt were thinking of scrapping road tax etc and charging on basis of miles travelled and time of travel etc.

At our places the partners can claim fuel and parking allowance way in excess of their costs. A bloke opp me (who lives near a tram stop) will gladly spend an extra 20 mins driving in each way as he makes money. Disgrace imo

The rabbits have been hunted down so much that carrots are in abundance. I reckon it might go up to 3lb of apples and block of cheese soon tho'.

    The farmers around here

are being called upon to assist with road blockages. The intention is to block every dual carriage way and motorway throughout the country. No date has been set, but it will be next week unless Blair drops the tax on fuel.

farmers block all the roads anyway

with their unlicenced, unregulated, unseath tractors going down the road at 2 miles an hour.
