Maybe a USB A to HDMI adapter will do it

Although just looking at the specs you have a VGA and a display port. So depending on which you use now, you can use the other

Is that how it works? I use a vga now because I've not got an hdmi. Do I just use the display port to another monitor and it'll extend it across both monitors?

I used to be decent with computers when I was a kid. That's changed

I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to run an extended screen from the display port. Is your 2nd monitor a HDMI?

Yeah it would be. First one is too but I was using the vga because I didn't realise I had a display port or anything until this morning

Yes, my old work machine had VGA and Displayport. Plugged a monitor into each. Could mirror or extend.

Displayport cable slightly different to HDMI - similar but not as symmetrical
