    I agree.

    Also, why is a foul in the first minute not worthy of the same punishment as an identical one later in the game?

    That pisses me off.

    It shouldn't matter where on the pitch a foul is, or what time it is, the resulting decision should be the same.

    Unless it's the last man...

    Tripping someone who would be through on goal's a bit different to tripping someone up who wasn't really going anywhere.
    Although some games would be entertaining with hardly anyone left on the pitch!
