Mike unfortunatley there is one mitigating factor in the points you are trying to make, and this will make a massive difference to your point of view, he is very mentally challenged, a thick **** if you may

Why does texting somebody boasting that you've pulled make you guilty of rape? Simple answer. It doesn't.

And since when did rehabilitation of rapists involve playing football? It doesn't.

You can't rehabilitate somebody who won't acknowledge they have done anything wrong in the first place. You just cant

I don't represent anybody, my views are my views, no more no less, but I also read this forum, listen to the radio and speak to other fans so its not difficult to see a consensus view.

Your views are not only backed by the majority of right thinking folk on here Mario its also backed by the po!ice who arrested him the CP's who prosecuted him a 12 people good and true jury who convicted him a judge who condemned him an appeal committee who threw his appeal out .think you should consider your judgement on the matter is pretty sound imo

Well there you go. Apply this to all cases and we're sorted. No wrongful convictions required!

I think you may find that it was three judges that rejected the appeal hardley a commitee .. the summing up of the original judge is interesting He went on to explain: "A woman clearly does not have the capacity to make a choice if she is completely unconscious through the effects of drink and drugs, but there are various stages of consciousness, from being wide awake to dim awareness of reality. In a state of dim and drunken awareness you may, or may not, be in a condition to make choices. So you will need to consider the evidence of the complainant's state and decide these two questions: was she in a condition in which she was capable of making any choice one way or another? If you are sure that she was not, then she did not consent. If, on the other hand, you conclude that she chose to agree to sexual intercourse, or may have done, then you must find the defendants not guilty."

I read that as how drunk was she... in my opinion an impossible question to answer.. therefore.. reasonable doubt MUST be applied therefore NOT GUILTY...

iu REST MY CASE... THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT.

    Wow. Just wow.

A new level of idiocy has now been reached on this forum.

I think I'm gonna have to stay away for a few weeks, I can't deal with idiots like this.

Interesting name calling WOW it will be very interesting if and when the decision is changed... so if someone has a different opinion to you we resort to silly childish name calling

Of course theres wrongful convictions but what are we supposed to do after every conviction walk around thinking they could be innocent?
IMO no we should and have safeguards to bring them to bear if grounds can be found.admittedly nothings perfect and more should be done but to make victim out to be a possible liar as some are adhering to I think I would rather put my faith in the system of judgement and review than the likescof some idiotic posters on here and Gordon Taylor and Steve f ing Bruce imo
