Well time does move on and people's perspective changes as well with the evidence available.. Or do you and expect others to have one rigid view that must never change..? If we appointed Williamson after that it would be on a par with when 'old shep' appointed Simon Davey after losing 3-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday.. If even in part Collins sacking was due to poor ST sales.. then it would be financial suicide to employ Williamson..
That is the worrying fact about all this. He should've/would've been in place by now as our first choice.. Which brings you right back to the question.. who actually is making these decisions..? And in what universe would this have gone down well with our fan base.? My plea to the board would be.. at least try to read the room ..
Why would we go for the cheapest option? Struber,Val,Duff ,Collins all cost us money to appoint them.
