I introduced myself to Chris Kamara earlier after I saw him in a restaurant in Wakefield. My Dad thought a lot about him and tried to sign him on loan when we got Brian McCord and Mark Smith. He always said he was a great bloke so I couldn’t not speak to him. He was lovely and I’m so glad I did. First thing he said though was ‘How is he?’ Awkward much bless him.
A very Chris Kamara thing to do! I met him in Penistone Paramount at the screening of Daydream Believers. Struck as a pleasant fella, happy to talk footy and pose for a photo.
In Chris's defence, we're talking about a matchday reporter who saw a sending off and thought it was a substitution.
Glad he seems to be doing OK. His Soccer Special appearances gave the impression he was towing a bit. One of the good guys I think.
Has an under-active thyroid which has caused him a lot of issues, but he didn't open up about it until quite recently. https://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/t...oid-disease-soccer-saturday-jeff-stelling-spt
