I don't not like him. I ******* hate him and wish every club who employs him untold suffering, and eventual liquidation.
I Dont actually know if You're a Moron Baka, But I think if anyone wants another fans club to go out of business then they are Morons.....Not personal to You!..What If Your club went under?
I never rated Morgan as a player, he was average at best. I hated him after the Hume incident. And then I happened to hear him at 21's games and he's an absolute lovely person of the highest degree. I can swear, no bother. But every other word? And encouraging players to foul opponents as well as mocking opponents from the touchline, not to mention mouthing at supporters. He's also as thick as a tub of spunnnk. And looks like he smells. As you can tell, I'm not a fan. Danny has surprised me there. (also agree with Loko's input in this thread.. seriously.. I actually agree with the wally)
As I said, I don't care what you think. I hate him, and now I hate Chesterfield. I want them to go out of business, and that's that.
What's your opinion on clubs like Portsmouth who don't pay their debts and put their own staff on the dole and put local businesses out of business? Don't clubs like Portsmouth deserve to go bust? Not quite the same thing but I wanted them to go bust.
Same. And Bolton. I speak as someone who has a bit of a 'crush' on Portsmouth, too. I always felt they are potentially a really, really big club and I do have a liking for them. However, they behaved appallingly and, were there any justice, they'd have gone under.
That wasn't the Football club, that was its owners...Not the Fans fault and not the Staffs fault...Look more closely at the people who allowed it to happen...IE The Premier League and the Football League...Who allowed the Charlatans to get away with it...Fit and Proper person?...Yeah right.
Big difference to what happened with BFC and clubs like Cardiff, Portsmouth, Rangers, Bolton, who have habitually spent money that they didn't have. Barnsley have never been responsible for inflating the cost of football. Something has to give, and until clubs like this are penalised properly then the only way this is going to go is that the SMALLER clubs fall off the end of the pile, whilst clubs like Bolton get their massive debts "waived".
Of course I have (some) sympathy with the fans. But look at Portsmouth. Their fans were hardly complaining when they were signing Prosineski, Sheringham, Kanu, etc were they? Even though the club didn't have a leg to stand on financially. They weren't moaning when they bought their way into the Prem, and they weren't moaning when they won the FA Cup on the back of it. Wednesday - 30+ million in debt to the bank. They knew it, but they also knew that the bank wouldn't call the debt in. Something drastic has to happen because football expenditure is way out of control. The clubs suffering are those which are trying to live within their means. Clubs like ours.
Yep. Fans aren't powerless. If your club employs a piece of work like Chris Morgan, or pays a bloke £120,000-a-week when its stadium is smaller than Oakwell (Portsmouth, Lassana Diarra) and you sit back and let it happen, you can reap the whirlwind when it comes as far as I'm concerned.
Couldn't not respond to this. Just to make sure it was real. Think we've hit a bit of form recently .......
Football is a business (so we keep being told) and fans are customers so as much as I feel for them clubs must start to be treated like any other business and when they rack up debts like Portsmouth, Bolton and others then liquidation is the only fair outcome. It might just bring a modicum of reality back into the game if clubs know that the penalty for this kind of financial mismanagement will be appropriate and not just a ten point deduction.
I know alot more about what happened at Portsmouth than most people do. A member of my family WAS a member of staff there. Let's just say that you're right the football authorities have alot to answer for, but there was definitely alot behind the scenes. I won't go into detail on here, but there were alot of things that went off that make me absolutely detest that club. I don't dislike their fans, they're a passionate bunch, but the way I see it, regimes like that poison football, and they deserve to collapse. Fans have to pay the price, but they will rebuild clubs.
Imagine if Danny had gone to the board and asked to recruit Morgan to his coaching staff.. Oh, and imagine Ched Evans turning up at Chesterfield soon....
Unfortunately while ever the FA / Football League etc let them get away with it, it can only get worse. The sad thing is the cheats are gaining short term success and plaudits for their achievements I.e. QPR, Bournmouth etc. The FFP rules are simply a token gesture and the governing bodies make the smallest actions to punish the guilty. The governing bodies simply are too weak to act allowing dodgy ownership and favouring some clubs over others. I haven't seen any evidence that suggests otherwise, I'm still awaiting QPRs punishment from the football league who seem to be happy to let a 50m fine fade into insignificance. Points hurt more than the pockets.
