He has been up front with Davey and has stated that he believes he is better than any other striker at the club and told Davey he wanted a chance to prove it. Davey is the best man manager and motivator we've had

there is absolutely no axes to grind between the manager and any of the players. instead of speculating and hypothesising, go to training and watch him in action. and before anyone mentions the previous management team, it cant always be smiles and back slapping.

 

On that basis Davey would never have picked Matt Le Tissier

And maybe ask some coaches who have worked with him what he was like.

We paid £50,000 for our house, which is a sixth of what BFC paid for Christensen, but we didn't just have a quick glimpse at it and then buy it. There were more surveys than you could shake a stick at. I'd expect the same sort of attention to detail when you're paying three hundred thousand ******* quid for a player.
