    what an absolutely nonsense statement..

    if these 3 are guilty of the said crime then all 3 should be jailed, just because you think 1 or any of them are better players means bugger all.... the bottom line is the crime, irrespective of footballing skill levels...My God I cannot believe you could even think this way.

    Cant believe people are jailing the players already. Not condoning it at all before anyone says that but lets get real. Dont know the facts but the worst of the alleged charges is racially aggravated assault. Assault does not mean they have beat the guy up. This could be simply pushing and shoving and a bit of name calling. The guy who spoke for the taxi driver Hafeas Rehman, from Sheffield Taxi Trade Association, said: "I am aware of the incident and the driver was absolutely distressed." His choice of words makes me think that there hasnt been much of a physical attack. Remains to be seen about the racist aspect, but doesnt racism always get included when it is white against ethnic. Just because he wasnt white doesnt mean it was racial and that they are racists.
