Sat in the North Stand the day we hammered Portsmouth Had to be really careful not to get myself killed. They weren't happy.
Only been in the Ponty a few times.

RE: and you could walk through to the Ponty at the end Thats why more fans are fat these days no half time exercise to go with their pie/ pint.
I remember the dog The Sunderland fan ran onto the pitch, the police released a dog and there was a short chase on the pitch. I remember chearing the dog on to catch the bloke. It then nearly killed him.
I sat in there a few times In addition to all other areas in Oakwell at one time or another. I was in a wheelchair. There was nothing wrong with me, but at that time you got in for nowt, so I put a pot on my leg and borrowed a wheelchair. Worked a treat.
done all them aswell, sat on the spion!! when we palyed man city( I'd rather be inBarnsley than Barbados) season.
Also I've been up the floodlights when we built em and I've been on that camera platform in the top of the west stand roof(One of the best views in the ground from up there) had a meal in an excec box and seen us play infront of nearly 34k whilst stood on top of the bog wall at the back of the old ponty. but my all time fave wasgetting changed in the dressing rooms and laikin a game on the hollowed turf against Bradford to commemorate 10 year sincepromotion to the prem..(raiseaglass)
