Are we actually any better at set pieces or have we just got two man mountains in Roberts & Pines now? It’s not like De Gevigney & Earl are suddenly chipping in with goals

Didn’t realise that TBH, personally I think it takes similar time to judge a DoF as they inherit a long term set up that takes time to change.

Losing Kane and Williams was always going to impact us. It maybe wasn’t obvious last year, but you could see they couldn’t be replaced easily.

Cotter looked better yesterday - but that’s because he was facing a lower L1 side. Against a top 6 team he’s not good enough.

That was Conors role within the staff before being promoted to assistant head coach after retiring. There was an article in one of the match day programmes about it a while back.

A lot of people saying he’s had four months. The SEASON has been going for four and a half.

He’s been in position since May. He’s been at the club for seven months, not four. He was in early. He controlled all preseason.

This isn’t laying all blame at his feet or even advocating his sacking. The problems go beyond him and are bigger than him.

But he is part of the problem and saying he’s had four months isn’t accurate. He had two and a half months before the season started to get into them and drill down his expectations etc. and in his first game we were two nil down at home to his hometown club and looking abject after under 20 minutes.

I don’t see a huge amount of value in sacking him but I wouldn’t be disappointed if we did.

Sacking him is absolutely the wrong thing to do IMO. There are problems all over the place. We've lost Roberts and were also without Connell, Phillips and Earl. These are not trivial misses. Fans pressuring the Club to sack managers after such a short spell are part of the problem IMO. It doesn't help the situation. It just makes it worse.
