Rotherham only picked up 16 points in the last 30 games, so they'd plenty of time to tap Evans up and agree a compo deal with Stevenage...hardly decisive action.
Laughing (not at you), the amount of people on here saying it was disgusting we were talking to the hammer man before Collins was gone, what do they think Rotherham have done here.
Compare it to the other clubs who got nowhere near the play offs & its not bad,but i suppose we have a divine right to be in the mix for the top 2 every season with us being the mighty Barnsley.

There's only 1 club bigger than us that got nowhere near the playoffs and that's Charlton so your theory doesn't stack up, but I suppose some fans are in the comfy slippers and accepting of this league.
Spare a thought for Portsmouth,12 seasons in this league & I bet their fan’s didn’t do half as much bairnin.
You need to take a look back at their forums, it's also 7 seasons in this league. So presumably your happy with being in L1 and they way we've been ran.
I don't think anyone's happy about it but I think a lot of people have an acceptance of it, an understanding that we don't have a right to go straight back up and that short term fixes aren't going to work, we need a coherent, long term strategy if we're going to stay up when we do go up. I'm not saying the board necessarily have that in place at the moment though...
The last manager to finish a season and start the next one was Daniel Stendel in 2019 that's 5 years ago, we are constantly ripping it apart summer after summer, there's no desire to retain some nucleus of a squad or keep anyone getting past 27/28, any momentum is dismantled so how can we ever have long term planning.
