Steady on. Look where Brentford are, & who is their CB. If we still had him we'd be comfortable mid table now. The money we go was peanuts. We'll get a sell on. Great. I'd rather have got the proper fee & had him from the start. Mads or Diaby would be OK alongside a player like him.
Looks great - confident lad. Just his final ball into the box needs working on. He’s got time on his side though. I like the way he just takes on his man and usually gets past without little care.
Looks composed. As others have said he needs to work on his end product though. Seems a better option than Williams at present still.
So he's another one to go on the Bye Bye List in January. The list is now getting longer, the better we are playing.
There's a big difference between a buy back clause and a minimum release clause. As I understand it (and my info is 2nd hand so I'm definitely not claiming to be ITK) the agreement requires that in the event we agree a transfer we are required to give Leeds the chance to match that in which case they will then get the first opportunity to agree personal terms with the lad. It does NOT mean they can come back in a years time and pick him off for a tin pot price. I'm only sharing what I have been told and not suggesting to anyone that it is 100% correct.
Sounds more realistic. Buy back clauses don’t seem to be common anywhere other than at Real Madrid or Barcelona.
