I'd say Dagnall inspired myself rather than CoG for Flicker and I'm not his greatest fan. The 12 goals and his overall pace and contribution between 18th October and the Swansea game turned draws into wins. Butterfield is a fine player. Vaz Te was able to provide a cutting edge and more importantly pace. Vaz Te has since been relatively successful in the premiership unlike Jacob and I know they are mitigating circumstances but you can't really deal with ifs and ands can you. Let's be honest Vaz Te was tapped up by West Ham in early jan and wanted to be off.
I was at the 1912 Cup Final Replay with barnsley66. We were all singing "Ra Ra The Colliers" ad infinitum.
They are some facts. Here's some more: The worst manager in the 115 year football league history of Barnsley FC in terms of points per game. The only manager in the 115 year football league history of Barnsley FC to average less than a point per game. Should we let those facts get in the way of a good argument?
He said that is what he expected from day one. He also failed to replace the said players despite having 10 months to do so. Great manager my hairy arse !!
You've changed.. It's almost as if you want to have a conversation with people these days. If you want to chat just say so, there's no need to bother with the daft questions.
He spoke utter gibberish most of the time, the rest of it was just bemoaning the fact he had no money and lkowering the expectations of the fans so far they now think that any skillful player is a luxury we cannot afford and all players should have endeavour above all else !
Jay.....the voice of good reason. Bang on mate. Keith Hill was a bag of dog sh!te for BFC.....I know that, the vast majority of BFC fans know that.....and I bet deep down, even Keith Hill knows that, but is too big headed to admit it. If he was that good at managing at Championship level, then why is he back at his second home and dropped two leagues with no other club showing any interest?
