totally don't agree with your comments above "The SCUM Barnsley fans who enjoyed fighting (yes some did)" the Barnsley fans who were sat up in that top tier went to watch the game , not to cause any trouble, if that fat c-unt in the blue top didn't break through the barrier and try and blind side that Barnsley fan in the grey top the Barnsley fan wouldn't have chinned him and knocked him flying, if you watch that video again the Barnsley fan in the grey top was walking away from the trouble. if I was up their when it all kicked off I would have also done the same as that kid in grey top, to me that lad deserves a pint (and if I found out who it was id definitely go to bar and get him one), just imagine if that lad and others who stood their n fought back weren't up their then families , kids , women and OAP would have got assaulted, the REAL SCUM - MILLWALL fans who invaded that part of the stand went their to cause trouble, the Barnsley fans up their were only their cause that's where their tickets were allocated. the black steward - deserves praise for holding the millwall scum back, and that kid in the grey top - deserves a pint - WELL DONE PAL
Was the disabled BFC fan asking for it, when they were tipped from their wheelchair and thrown down a flight of stairs? If I were you, I'd sit this one out, ST.
Your the bloke who said syp were within their rights at Chesterfield away to stop elderly barnsley fans from going toilet. What I was saying as regards to your goading I sat at side of Oxford fans in the jpt when they scored they celebrated and gave banter. When we scored we did same all in good jest no coins thrown no seats smashed. Coincidence? I think not
If you're talking about the missile throwing from ramp to ramp on Wembley Way, yet again that was started by Millwall. We were sat on the grassy knoll and saw it all kick off. Both sets must have had a shock when the ramps joined up again higher up. The overwhelming impression I got from the day was Millwall fans were confrontational and Barnsley fans high spirited.
So the cretins who I saw run half the perimeter of the upper tier had been goaded by the Reds fans in the top tier, I could barely hear my daughter speaking to me 2 seats away. Sticks and stones may break my bones but calling will not hurt me!
Posted this in an earlier thread re those Millwall cretins. They just don't seem to get it. Football crowds. One set of supporters make gestures and aim chants towards the opposing set, particularly after a goal. The other set give it back, particularly after an equaliser. Back and forth that goes, simmering for 90 minutes, then everyone cools down and fcuks off home and only very occasionally does that posturing escalate to anything worse. Millwall, however, seem unable to keep that lid on the pot, seeing opposition fans making gestures towards them as ABSOLUTE justification to physically attack them, irregardless of the make-up of those fans. Countless threads on their ***** forum where the poster genuinely believes that Barnsley fans "giving it large" (a phrase they seem to enjoy) makes their physical assault completely vindicated. Some weird, and not a little warped, psychological flaw at play there.
Rather strangely, other than the Millwall idiots in the top tier, the only scrap I saw was a few Barnsley fans fighting each other in the premier Inn mini-pub. Which I found a little disappointing at 12.30pm. Millwall fans who initiated any kind of violence are to be deplored but- for the sake of balance- a lot were clapping our group out of Wembley and wishing us all the best.
just seen the video and the seat thrown actually hit me,and until i'd just seen the video i'd swear it missed me, though i did rescue a kids adidas trainer that my mates head had just blocked. i'd got my 2 lads with me, albeit 1 is an adult but other just 11. having seen the footage i now think "wtf was i still doing there with an 11 yr old" but at the time i thought it was the same gobshites mouthing most of the game, you can see a ***** in a purple shirt waving his flippers about quite a bit in the video, what a ******** he was throughout the game, as for praising the stewards, yes the back up did a sterling job, but the ones there earlier were a disgrace, not one word was said to their fans when goading but ours were bollocked for waving! i did pull 1 steward up ages before it kicked off but it seemed they were happy to clamp down on families than those 10ft away yes some of ours aren't angels but when you look at the footage we were probably 10 to 1 inc women & kids against upstairs yet all the stewards were on our side of the segregation to control if a kid ate a jelly babies legs 1st. maybe they forgot millwall were there, it was a lot stricter for the oxford game that same part
I agree. They're a club who will always attract trouble and they dont seem too bothered about altering the fact. It's time someone in the Football League did it for them. Somehow.
