Re: thats a very good gesture, but did anyone pay cash on the gate ? I'm pleased to hear those that paid at the gate were given a ticket. Like you I had to go fishing in the bin to retrieve my ticket.
Correct for the club to do this , but smacks of panic and desperation in trying to get the fans back on board.
Re: thats a very good gesture, but did anyone pay cash on the gate ? prob be a free ticket to a home game lol
It is the least the 500 spartans deserved. Although you could tell who came by train. The pub round corner was full by time third went in. You could see even in first half if crawley got one then theyd win. Gutless showings from Craine turnbull and hurriane. Nyatanga wasnt much better. Only three of the eleven starting deserve any kind of faint praise.
This just pisses me off further. We've wasted money needlessly on sacking a manager who didn't deserve it, we then got battered because the players were sulking & we'll now waste money paying for the fans ticket cost & then there's a chance we'll be paying compo for a new manager. All a needless waste of money. P.S. I fully agree that the fans deserve to get the cost of their tickets back, I suffered enough listening on player never mind going down there
I don't personally think they've been under performing as a group. Only really Jennings & when he was here Treacy. After a massive overhaul of players we were left with a squad filled mainly with lower league & academy players & of the experienced players he's had Cranie & Ramage have been injured & he's been without his main striker for 3 months. Under the circumstances I think sacking a manager for been as close to the play offs as relegation was ridiculous & I think the players showed on Saturday that they thought the same. Unfortunately 400+ fans got caught in the crossfire
