RE: A friend of mine We weren't far off that, I overheard Alan Bloore saying a similar system worked for coach travel to Liverpool. Well maybe but there were far more people this time and it was a total mess.
I was on coach 60 which was the last to leave Oakwell about 10.10am and we got to the ground and at about 3.40pm and got sat in our seats just in time to see the teams come out and I know we weren't the last to arrive.

Well, he hasn't mentioned that Just this lady sat right behind the driver:-
They Wish Lol There was one or two nice ladies on the coach yesterday towards the middle/back end (Y) (Y) (Y)
I know My cousin Catherine was one, she was sat near the back with my Uncle Keith. Don't let Dad hear you say anything about how attractive she is. He's her Godfather and (as I know only too well) he's VERY protective towards the women in his family. When Dad was on the phone to Mum, he said 'Billie Piper' was much prettier in real life! If that lady reads this board, can I apologise from Mum and myself and tell you he's quite a nice man really. He's not always daft!!
RE: I know Would your Uncle have a bald head and would Catherine be Blonde? Your dad should have asked for her autograph.
RE: A friend of mine saw aan bloore in green man pub before kick off so he must have got his own transport sorted
RE: He's got very short hair Sorry for holding the coach up. It was soooo embarassing arriving back on my own, when everyone else had been on 5-10 mins haha. Yeah we are probably talking about the same people here. Keith had the window seat. They were sat a few behind me. I was sat in front of the bog.
I was a disgrace I can honestly say that I was half tempted to phone the police up (not 999 obviously) to report the safety problems at the time. I didn't in the end but it was tempting as I really did feel that somebody was going to get hurt
It's because I'm Gentle, quiet, affectionate, placid, loving, sincere, protective, caring and humble. Crystal got herself a real catch.
Knowing Keith and his bladder He'd have spent more time in the toilet, rather than sat next to Catherine!
RE: Knowing Keith and his bladder She is of an oldish age yeah....Whenever someone left the toilet, I got a really bad smell
I have to agree about the coach problems, seemed like nobody knew what was happening. That bloke with the 'loud'speaker who im assuming was alan blore was useless, didn't hear a thing he was saying then when the fans took matters into their own hands (and did a better job of it) started shouting that we shouldn't go blame him when we couldn't find our coach... We were on coach 20, which didn't stop at services on the way there until we were 30 miles from london, and didn't stop at all on the home journey, never played the radio, or had the tv on, or served drinks... Best thing about the coach trip was i broke the toilet door, well i shut it, because it stunk and the lock must have engaged. Had a 30 minute laugh about it before getting it back open. So my apologies to anybody who was on that coach In comparison, the trip the Millenium Stadium was alot better than this one...

people were left with no organisation at all and due to the apparent random nature of the numbering of the busses (the ones that were numbered) people were walking amongst coaches that were reversing. Also people were being forced back into an area that was far too small which caused several people to trip over others and accidentally push them etc. Somebody could easily have been ran over by a coach or crushed amongst 3,000 people (60 coaches at 50 on each, there were more than 60 coaches i'm led to believe so 3,000 is a rough guess) which would have resulted in injury or at worst death. Crushes can kill people as our neighbours know only too well
I will never travel with the supporters club again after the playoff final Utter disgrace that I was sat seperately to my young son. Again and again Barnsley FC have the opportunity to improve and make amends for previous **** ups yet continue to make the same mistakes.
The only problems with Globe that i know about was... ..those of us who were on the Hills coaches hired to Globe, had to wait ages at Watford Gap for a new driver on the way back. They operated a weird system where one driver took us down to Watford Gap and then another took us on to Wembley, leaving the original driver at the services who we picked up on the way back! Trouble was we had to wait an hour and a half for the change over on the way back. Got back to tarn at midnight!
