I praised a bloke called Adam's prowess on the pitch. And glorified his reformation! Then it's escape to victory!
Fair enough. I'm more interested in your tips for the pre - Xmas Cheltenham meeting. Please let me know your selections. I lost all my dough there one year when a horse called Condor Pan won. I may have that horse's name put on my gravestone....
There's the Paddy Power meet next weekend Threadstopper, and a two day one on 11/12 December. Lady Kaht and I will be there on the Sunday next weekend. I'll put my picks up on here - although it may prove costly to follow them! Long range, Monetaire [Paddy Power Gold Cup next Saturday] and Penglai Pavilion [Greatwood Hurdle, Sunday] interest me, but I'll be having a closer look at both races once the final declarations are made. Paul Nicholls may well be the man to follow at Wincanton tomorrow. I was going to go to Doncaster tomorrow, but the weather forecast is a big no-no.
Does Lady Kaht join in or is she there under sufferance? My own lady put up with me, 2 weeks into our relationship, unable to raise my head for fear of chunder, in Wetherby's parade ring on Boxing day. By the next Market Rasen meeting we were an item. Still are 20+ years later. Anyway it's the pre Xmas pocket emptier I like. Post your selections on here.
Lady Kaht has accompanied me to Ponty, Ripon, Hereford, Worcester, Southwell, Thirsk and Wetherby. There again, she much preferred it when we went to Newmarket, Royal Ascot, The Curragh, Longchamp and York! Will post tips nearer the event so you know what to avoid!
Longchamp? You smoothie you. Prior to the Threadlady, I took a lovely girl to York. She asked "Is this where they have Ascot?" We laughed. But a few years later it was where they had Ascot. She was a lovely girl.
Get em signed up tomorrow, Unfit, alcoholic, whatever they are better than we have got. If colace is half as good as his first season he'll be better than pearson
