There's the Paddy Power meet next weekend Threadstopper, and a two day one on 11/12 December. Lady Kaht and I will be there on the Sunday next weekend. I'll put my picks up on here - although it may prove costly to follow them!

Long range, Monetaire [Paddy Power Gold Cup next Saturday] and Penglai Pavilion [Greatwood Hurdle, Sunday] interest me, but I'll be having a closer look at both races once the final declarations are made. Paul Nicholls may well be the man to follow at Wincanton tomorrow. I was going to go to Doncaster tomorrow, but the weather forecast is a big no-no.

 

Does Lady Kaht join in or is she there under sufferance?

My own lady put up with me, 2 weeks into our relationship, unable to raise my head for fear of chunder, in Wetherby's parade ring on Boxing day.

By the next Market Rasen meeting we were an item.

Still are 20+ years later.

Anyway it's the pre Xmas pocket emptier I like.

There again, she much preferred it when we went to Newmarket, Royal Ascot, The Curragh, Longchamp and York!
