    I thought Jack was excellent & is a very promising talent & I am sure I read a couple of months ago that he was looking forward on his return to Oakwell to make an impact next season, I think if Kane & Aitchison return next season they will be both very useful in our attempt to get back to the championship & lets remember they are both our players & saves us in the transfer market .

    I think they'd both be competing for the middle spot of that 3, rather than putting one of them (likely Marsh) in a wider position. But that's no reason why they both couldn't be in the squad. Plenty of games to be played.

    Aitchinson has been used out wide by FGR. Not always through the middle in the pure #10 role.

    He played the 10 role last night & looked extremely effective , he also has a fair old engine on him & did not appear to tire , working hard on and off the ball & looked two footed with a very tidy range of passes , extremely impressive .

    That's good to know, guess that means there would also be a role for him if the coach next season, whoever that may be, prefers to play a front 3.
