Devante is a brilliant prospect and will prosper with any side that can provide him with a semblance of service. That he did so well for us without any proper support speaks volumes for his talent. The fact that he's gone to MKD speaks volumes for the relative status and ambition of our two clubs. This lad is a star of the future.

 

I enjoyed watching him play, but more often than not he frustrated rather than thrilled, particularly in the last few games. His decision making was poor in front of goal. But he's young and still learning and certainly there's a lot there to work with, so if he has the right attitude and knuckles down he should have a good career. If we'd have kept him till the end of the season I'd have been happy (not nearly as much as my daughter would), but I'm also not upset that we haven't kept him. I am expecting him to score on Saturday though!

 

I agree it doesn't look good at all. I would hope someone with seven goals in 23 games for us was still wanted by us........

He's a better option for scoring goals than everyone else but Houriane and Winnall. I'd just about be able to take it if he turned us down for them because he wanted to join a club with the ambition to try and get promoted this season rather than keep banging on about the future and potential etc. But if we didn't try and get him back so he was left only with the MK option that would be extremely disapointing.

 

Will be a top player in the future, but not for us or MK.

If the defenders are scared of his pace and drop off him he will have a field day. If they work out his first touch is dreadful most of the time and get tight he disappears and can't deal with the physicality. I would hope we do exactly that on Sat. Although he will prob score anyway.
