I dont think he had a nightmare but Coventry over loaded on his side & gave him a hard time especially in the first half but he stuck at it & got better although after such a long lay off 3 games in seven days was a big ask for the lad & I agree with you that I would put Styles to left back to accommodate Benson from the start
I thought that dabo was going past him at ease every time he ran at him and Williams was really struggling. Ben Williams didn't play v Bolton. But yes thats a option but I'm sure styles favoured position would be cm.
I agree. Ben needs a run to get his fitness up - after the year he’s had, we should be supportive of him. Top lad, worked his balls off when injured and trying to get back into it. I think Jordan is the quicker of the two, but Ben probably is a better defender.
This was definitely the case first half. Less so second half for me. I actually thought we controlled the tempo second half and never really looked like conceding until the change of shape with ten minutes to go. First half felt a little all at sea but we did improve.
I thought that there man seemed to stop running at williams when I thought the tactic 2nd half would be to target him. Agree about that aswell when we went to a back 4 we looked vulnerable
Agree with the bouncing up and down on his line, put himself off not the striker, but then he probably thought he was in the Euros not Carabou Cup.
