It's very rare for me to criticize a ref because its a thankless task that they have, but him tonight drove me mad. Shows how much big Val's improved us though when we're disappointed with a draw against Cardiff.
There’s a lot more to it, than selection. You know enough about football, mate. We don’t have the deepest, most experienced squad. Luckily, relatively light on injuries. But they will happen, especially on these pitches. & players have to be ready to step up. We can afford to do that, being fairly safe from relegation. personally, if I had been playing tonight, I’d have brought a quad bike & a baseball bat.. & my own ref..
If a player starts well and people get it in there head they are good, then that specific player can do no wrong and visa versa once someone's not good enough thats it minds made up people blaming sibbock for losing the game on this thread.... we had 2 great chances we should have scored one in 1st half to make it 2 nil one 2nd to make it 3-2. Next game i would put sol and walton back in though
Their goal gave them a lift. Obviously. It was a marginal decision - corner or not. Unlike Brittain and Collins giving them the other corner that they scored from.
He may have to Sibbick looked like he had a knock when he came off. Our defending at corners has been poor for sometime.
Cheer up, it could be a crucial point and it's the first one we've had under Val. Plus it's one more than the dee dars managed!
