    That is exactly what needed to happen. Neither of them played high up enough or beat players wide to the by line for a decent cross. With a packed backline defensive players have to be taken out of the game.

    Haven't we been playing in a winning way since Val got to grips with us (not all season)?

    And today we were well and truly beaten at our own game?

    Mowatt was mediocre but the defence did OK. The attack were subdued by a great defence.
