Serious question has anyone actually seen Rotherham play before? Because like @Marlon said they've played like this against other teams and been unfortunate.. But then as soon as it happens to us people think it's the end of the world. They had a good game, but we have defenders and goalkeepers for a reason and today showed why. I'd feel unlucky if I was a Rotherham fan but I'm not. Give them a kiss and move on.
I would be interested to know what the greatest number of passes put together by our team was today. I'd be surprised if it was more than 6. I really am moaning this aft I know.
Agreed. Really shitty luck. But I think they won’t mind it was us, rather than some other tosspots in this league. Good luck Rovrum. I’m feeling a bit crap about that result, but still going to stare at the league table for a couple of hours before bedtime.
It is a fact, but other facts includes Rotherham’s failure to put any of the gilt-edged chances away which would’ve made our goal negligible. Thus the outcome of the game was in their own hands so only have themselves to blame
Correct. Don't give a toss whether it was a foul or not. The goal was given and it was enough to beat them. Rotherham deserve to go down, they lose even on the rare occasion that they're the better team.
Tell me about it mate - I might be able to help you. We won - there's no need to trouble yourself over your hoofball experience. I felt it with you.
I If we had gone on to thrash them, that would be half true. That ref has possibly relegated a perfectly honest football club. If that was us, we’d go ****ing mental.
This stage of the season it’s the result that counts, remember Walsall away when Jacob Brown popped up late or that win against Peterborough when George Williams scored in the 90th minute? All teams have poor performances, we are nine points clear with 2 games to go, just repeat that, have a drink and think how far we’ve come in 12 months. We are Barnsley, we never make it easy, but by God none of us could have imagined we’d be here a year ago.
Right first beer down and I'm looking at the positives. Brad Collins is actually a shot stopper. Three points. Clean sheet. Another double done.
Was like a remake of the Alamo with us winning. If it had been boxing it would have been stopped. But I couldn't care less three points in the bag and move on. I do wish Rotherham all the best for the rest of the season but with luck and finishing like that it will be difficult. At least Derby lost so they didnt lose ground on them. It would be great if they could stay up and Derby and Wednesday both go down
I'm not sure that I should celebrate the fact that the team in the bottom 3 can't convert gilt-edged chances against us.
