    I didn't think we got out of second gear, but still had too much for Tranmere. I'd claim we should've been home and hosed at half time with steadier finishing, but for some reason we seemed to pass the ball rather than finish! A blatant penalty for me at the end, but it was a barmy challenge by the defender.
    Great to see Sibbick & Williams back in action.

    Enjoyable game - I thought we played okay and it was nice to see us mixing it up with our approach though we still need to be more clinical in the final third. I thought big Val was quite agressive with his substitutions and it was good to see they didn't let the manager down. We've got a couple of new players to come into the squad so all is looking positive for the second half of the season.

    Sibbick and Williams showed enough to make me think that they'll really improve our depth, if not replace any of the first XI just now. With the new guys as well the bench is looking quite a bit stronger all of a sudden.

    First half we were OK. Second half we weren't. Victor looked useful. Helik's our most likely scorer at the moment.
