Other than the loans of Robert's and Mcatee the summer was a disaster trying to polish too many turds I'm afraid. The blokes not got too much charisma and on top of that our terrible home form I understand people not taking to him but with what he's had to work with I think it's as good as anyone could do.
In my opinion the style of football last season was completely different to the style we played this season. For a start I wasn't falling asleep at matches last season
I agree with you it is dull this season. I just think it has to be. I feel like every time the game gets stretched we’re far more vulnerable than the opposition.
Yes that’s what i see. Our better players have gotten worse our less talented ones have not improved.
I personally see the opposite. I feel we are at our best when we use speed to stretch the opposition and attack with pace. It's when we do an half arsed effort of moving the full back iup the pitch but then trying to walk it in that we are exposed at the back AND creating nothing up front
I thought same last season. We went into the playoffs in very poor form, 5 defeats and a draw from last 10. Lottery when you get there though.
Half the teamm will be pissed off that they have to work for 3 extra weeks when they want to go on their jollies.
So you think bringing in Paul Heckingbottom who's been managing in the PL this season will want to drop down to L1 half a dozen games before the end of the season is realistic, you don't think he'll be waiting for a Job higher up in the summer?
Tell me what your prediction was pre season? Were you one of the ones who thought we'd finish mid table? Or one of the very dim ones who thought we'd be fighting relegation?
Just not true. Even for the out of contract ones. A promotion will look good on their CV. Especially if they perform in the play offs.
Apart from the times when we come back to win from losing positions... Which recent previous managers couldn't do.
