Amir may get beat tonight

I do think he seems like a nice lad, but as usual Frank Warren has made poor fights, even when he got knocked down his opponent just didn't have the power to finish him off, and all it served to show was Khan's hands are too low and he got caught by a bit of a fluke.

I have been saying for a while I will not believe he has true lightweight potential until he fights a really, decent, properly recognised opponent. I think Earl is just that and if he beats him he will have gone some way to justify calls for a world title shot.

as far as Earl goes I'm glad he's getting a shot as he deserves it I've seen him win some tough fights, and as Khan is well recognised a win will help his career.

That right there is why Ricky got pissed and left and why Calazghe wastes fights no crap opponents like Manfredo and possibly Woods coming up. He should be fighting Hopkins whatever it takes, Roy Jones, Tarver etc, but Warren cannot make the fights happen.

Crap opponents are what Calzaghe is after, Hopkins is 40-summart, Roy Jones is shot, Tarver is very beatable, Joe is after a big pay day with little risk.m
Ricky left Warren because his dad tried to stiff Frank over money, not because of who he fought.

First up Windy, that's how an adult replies to a difference of opinion in a grown up manner. Now Mark I love watching Calazghe and look at all he's done in his career. But do you possibly think he will be not as rated as highly as he should be, due to the calibre of some of his opponents? That's what i'm worried about.

And you really do know nothing about boxing. You obviously live in front of the telly but how many times have you strapped up? How many boxers do you know? Have you ever actually been to a gym or a fight for that matter? Repeating what you hear on the telly doesn't quite cut it little fella.</p>
