Don’t worry yourself. These places are here to vent. You blame who you want.

I went on holiday before the Cardiff game just got back for todays game......what the chuff has been going on, particularly with the midfield thought Gardener Barnes Williams and Potts were all poor, shadows of the players pre international break, can't remember anyone getting near Huddleston . Derby have some top players at this level but they didn't need to get out of first gear to beat us comfortably .

I didn't think it was the worst we've played this season by a long chalk. We were just less superior to Derby in every respect.

Derby were one of the better teams I've seen this season. That being said, we've seen some pretty dire teams over the last few months at Oakwell; Hull, Birmingham, Sunderland Cardiff and Boro weren't anything too special. They weren't exceptional, they were just better.

In the first half hour, we more than matched them, we forced their keeper into a few decent saves and after a few unforced errors on his part, I reckon we'd have been good value to have been in front. That last 15 minutes of the first half through was poor, and we just looked shot of all confidence as soon as the first goal went in.

Carson in their goal appeared to be the weak link, but we didn't test him enough. Our best chances seemed to be straight at him, particularly one from Ugbo with the goal gaping. Even the effort from Potts that hit the bar, without bring too critical, I think with how the ball fell to him and with how Carson was scrambling, Potts should have just taken the edge off his shot a little to ensure it was on target. It would have been a screamer had it dropped a couple of inches lower.

We were committing bodies forward in the 2nd half, and obviously getting caught on the counter. We had to do that. But Derby looked fairly comfortable.

At the minute, we look wasteful everytime we've got the ball in a dead ball situation. Free kicks floated wide by Hammill. Corners played short and then pea rolled along the 18 yard line by Barnes and Thiam. Nobody other than Williams showing for throw ins and he subsequently knocks them back out of play. We just don't look like we've any ideas.

We had chances yesterday, we were 2nd best in every area. We weren't as poor as the Leeds game, Derby weren't poor either. Nobody can argue with a Derby win in my opinion.... You could at best argue that 3-0 flattered them.

Yeah, we had been blessed with high energy players like Scowen, Watkins and Brownhill who really could get up and down.

Also Isgrove has been a big miss. Our best run of results this season came when he was fit and playing. Another high energy player that pressed the opposing full back and got us further up the field.

We now have so many players that can't manage more than a decent 45 minutes before disappearing and being replaced for the next game.

Having said all that, we're talking about replacing a promotion squad and keeping up the standard. We haven't managed that in all my years as a red.

    Haha. Jeremy kyle stuff.

It's a bit more boring than that. I sit with him at matches.

Barry that is, not Jeremy Kyle
