Help me out here....... If Barmsley FC went into admin, and Hourihane, Holgate and God knows who else who we 'retained an interest in their future' were to get a summer move....... Where would the money go?

The administrators to divide amongst the creditors starting with the football debts such as player wages outgoing transfer fees etc which have to be paid in full then the rest of the creditors get a percentage of what if anything is left.

How can we be remotely close to administration when the finance show no losses? Unless of course it's a case of cash flow caused by COVID19, in which case the owners with their millions could sort that out in an instant.

We can't. It can't be cashflow, we have just banked 7000 ST payments. It's got nothing to do with admin. Just wild speculation that's all.

That doesn't mean it won't hurt further down the track, but right now, we are not insolvent. So no admin.

    More than that.
It's a Patellion. A number so mind-bendingly complex as to be beyond human comprehension.

Wouldnt surprise me if it was winding down the accademy I'm a big fan of the accademy but over the years it hasn't made us that much its produced some good talent stones, Butterfield, bree, holgate etc but cryne subsidised it by 1million a year from his own pocket. Huddersfield recently shut theres and with the impact of covid and the cost associated to it sadly i think it will be one of the 1st cut backs.

It’s weird someone at the club keeps giving him info when he’s the one advertising IPTV that takes money away from the club.

Cheers all, as I suspected. So if they seriously are looking at admin, which I doubt, there 'could' be a potential couple of million incoming, and I would doubt very much we owe anyone 2 million, especially at a 10p in the pound type agreement.

    We'll be right.

My guess is we are selling Jordan Williams to Juventus.

The lack of gravity wouldn't suit our midget team either, I suspect.

It won’t be Admin - the people who would know this, are the people who would keep quiet. Im talking top-tier.

It’ll be the ending of junior football at the club. We’ll have U18s, U23s and 1st team as others have said.

The shadow squad that RITC ‘might’ be used a little more for local talent.

It makes sense - a lot of clubs already do this, and it’ll save quite a bit of money. Some of the academy staff have already been made redundant, so this potential next step makes sense.

It’s a shame, but I think it’s also the future. It will also release the heavy burden of the extra running costs of it.

Struber going would be a shame, but not devastating.

I cannot believe the amount of comments talking about going into administration ,as if its a done deal when the original post was nothing more than speculation regarding an announcement from the club , whats more it is spreading around social media with the BBS being touted as the source for the info . Everyone loves a bit of spec but some now are convinced we are going into administration , unbelievable Geoff !

Not 100% but im hearing its the acadamy, which was always in danger if we were relegated.
What a great shame.....i did hear after last seasons euphoria they were gping to invest in it big time but that turned out to be untrue.
Not quite sure how it will effect everything but losing the acadamy is devastating imho.

I’m hoping that they’re suing the EFL over the lack of points reduction for Birmingham and Wednesday

Geoff Sterling earlier kept saying how the Wigan point deduction wasn’t fully decided yet and I’m confused. Whatever reasoning they come up with, they’ve still overspent and gone into admin, how can that not be a points deduction?

Other cheating clubs (Wednesday and Birmingham) should get deductions too but they won’t. If Sheff Wednesday do get a deduction, it’ll be minimal.
