Compulsory vaccinations

I have no problem with "the powers" putting the point of view in favour of vaccination and debunking the ludicrous claims about injecting 5G micro chips etc. I also have no problem with anyone who refuses the vaccine. I'm pretty sure even Johnson would be firmly against compulsion.

 

I dont think they will make it mandatory but I do think once you have had it you will be issued with some kind of id card, in other words you won't be allowed on transport/ flights/ shops/ cinema etc without it, i maybe wrong, just giving my opinion.

Good article about the difference between how China do things and western countries do things. In the democracy of the western world we don't like restrictions.

 

I think before people start doing cartwheels down the street with all these Vaccine breakthroughs
We have to remember that the people who are most at risk will still be most a risk from dying due to Covid(unless it burns out as many scientists believe it will in time based on previous ones)and Flu virus other infections etc.


i haven't read or seen anything on T.V that says the vaccines stop you catching it or passing it on
just severely lessens the effects of it correct ?
they boost or kickstart your immune systems to defend against it

The people in very high risk cats and with illnesses that deplete your immune system or as you get older and older and your immune system gets less and less effective
vaccines become less and less effective, doctors will even advise some people not to even have them.

its not just going to be a happy ending for everyone
Thousand/s ? of people will still die every week from it just in the U.K if we go back to so called fully normality.

Is the Analogy politicians Doctors roll out when speaking about this about saving Mums and dads grandads the elderly people etc
is that really a sound argument or cant we save any of those people in reality ?

Unfortunately, there are some citizens that are terrified when it comes to any form
of medical procedures and I can see them declining the vaccination.

Our youngest lad has an aversion to giving blood. On the occasions he's had to
have blood taken, either myself or his Mum have had to accompany him.

When his name is called, he goes drip white. Once inside the treatment room
he has to tell the phlebotomist of his problem and asks if he can lie completely
flat on the examination couch. Once they've taken his blood, he has to lie down
for 15 minutes or so before he can sit up and move.

He's circa thirteen stone and stands around six foot two and is really embarrassed
about his condition but poor lad can't help it.

 

Aw.

 

CBT would probably fix that. We have treatments for blood injury phobia. Applied muscle tension etc... ask him to consider referring himself to his local IAPT for treatment.

Sorry, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and IAPT stands for Improving Access to Psychological Therapies.

If your son is in Ossett and is 18+ it'll be Turning Point you refer to. You can self-refer or via GP. Self is obviously quicker.

I don't think it's him. I am absolutely lacerated. I've had bone from my nose chiselled away, under local anaesthetic, my choice, against advice, no problem. And I went straight to the pub. I've had my insides taken out, literally everything in my peritoneum cavity - bowels, liver, kidneys - put on the table while they flush me out with a hose pipe, and I watched as the extent of my septicemia meant general anaesthetic would definitely kill me. No problem. I've had a surgeon shove a pair of scissors into a stoma in my abdomen and fettle about, without any pain killers, as the green puss gushed from the table to the floor and I just watched. If a professional takes my blood, if they don't go through the vein, if they keep within it, and I've had so much blood taken from me, then I'm fine. I have no apprehension at all before they take my blood, it isn't anxiety that does it, but if they go through my vein, if it results in a bruise, I cannot, like your son, get up off the floor for 15 minutes after the procedure. If I do, I feint, and have done many times. And just to let you know how he feels, so you know he's not a Jess, it's a million times worse than any of those other procedures I've described.

Be a shame if people boycotted Qantas so they went bust and any other airline that decided to follow suit.

 

Cheers Jay. We don't have any negative thoughts or embarrassment around his fears. Like any normal
caring parents, we have an overwhelming feeling of concern and sympathy for something that he genuinely
is unable to control poor lad.

He's had major surgery for an Anterior Cruciate ligament injury and came through that with flying colours,
but having to give blood or at the very sight of a syringe he comes over light headed and is close to fainting.
He laughs it off, but deep down you can sense that he's embarrassed at having to admit his phobia.

 

I'd let him read my story if you could. See if he notices that if he bruises after the event, he feels worse during, as I do. At the very least he'll know someone else is out there and feels like he does. I struggle with this and I'm made of fc*king iron.

 

And then is born yet another scam for criminal gangs to make money.
