Can guests use a screenname?

As I think that's the least they should do - so that we know who the comments are attributable to.

There wasn't registration on the other site but at least, in the main, people stuck to a psuedonym so you could follow the context.

How do I easily know when reading a thread if the 2 postings from "guest" are from the same person or not? I could check the IP address but not likely to do that over the course of a long thread

Yes, guest's can choose any 'witty' name they choose.

 

Maybe each Guest IP should automatically be given a name like

they due with hurricanes. eg (83.67.106.183)could be Katrina every time that IP posts.
