    Many thanks for all your good wishes

    Its been a long tiring day...well I have not really slept now for 36 hours. Jayne was fantastic though not without justifiable complaint during the 3 hour labour. It was so quick that she could not have any pain relief other than gas and air and to say that Poppy was almost 9 and a half pounds, it was an ordeal for her which she coped with very well indeed. I am humbled to witness the arrival of a new life, it is a miraculous experience especially when it is one of your own offspring, and now to have experienced that epiphany twice is more than I could have hoped for. Tonight I have eight cold bottles of lager to go at to celebrate our latest addition though it seems somewhat hollow in a way as mother and baby are still in BDGH until a course of antibiotics are complete. The calm before the storm I suspect :D So thanks again for your kind words.
