    Remember Accrington Stanley leading the Third Division North at Christmas 1954. We were third behind Scunthorpe. Thanks to a terrific run at the end the season we managed to pip them to win the League and take the only promotion place. From recollection, their first team contained 10 Scots.

    I can assure you all this never happened: it's fake news.
    They have 1200 fans and no money and the majority of teams in their division have lots more, so they can't possibly compete let alone gain automatic promotion.
    Same with Millwall, they can't compete, they are poorer than us: blatant fakery.
