Conor Hourihane Stats...

He's probably the best we've had since Howard. That's not a criticism of McPhail or Butterfield, but their respective peak periods with us were quite brief really, whereas Howard was consistently on his A game for much longer. The reason Conor is only the best since Howard (in my opinion), is because he's not achieved anything like Brian did. Not yet. And Brian did it for us in the division above too. In fact, you might argue that Howard achieved more relatively, with us than Higgy did. Conor could very well end up eclipsing him though. A Wembley winner, leading us to promotion, staying here and continuing to shine at the next level. Up to him really. He's talented enough and seems ambitious. I just don't see him staying here, unless we go up. And I don't want to see us without him. Not again. No coincidence we went to pieces and lost all those games when he ended up injured.



It's nice to be talking about stuff like this though. Rather than how ***** Frimpong/Wiseman/Wilkinson etc are. We've suffered for so long as supporters. I'm enjoying this, and milking the feelings it's giving me for as long as I can.

He's f.cking brilliant. He was great before but now he's f.cking brilliant & by far the best midfielder all round that we've had in 10 years or more.
