    I think we should get hourihane, Roberts and maybe even Rhodes and build a team round them. We have tried the under 25 game too long. You only have to look at premier league and see hom many 30 plus players there are

    Yep instead of under 25 lets focus on over 33s, we missed out on lee Gregory. Let's get a team who have been there and done it what's Adam Hammill and Adam Davies doing? We could have a mix of the old 2016 team and add a few more over 35s to it.

    Never seen us play in league 2 before looking forward to it.

    So do you expct the big premier side to suddenly drop to league 2 because they have 3 or 4 30plus players, you talk silly. I didn't say 11 pensioners just 3 or 4 to bring the young uns on . As i keep saying when you get to your mid 70s you might get a bit wiser

    I don't care if a players 15 or 45 along as he can play to league one standard. I wasn't impressed when I saw conor with Derby last season but I'd be happy to see him back. People suggesting players like 36 year old Lee Gregory no thanks. Rotherham have made another good signing today the center half who was at pompey 30 years old. While we're still trying to get a head coach in.

    He's already there. It's been reported last season he helped at Villa and us at the same time. Dunno how he found the time.

    Snippets from the article here (as I don't subscribe to the Athletic), but no direct mention of his plans now he's left Derby. It sounds like he's very invested in getting into coaching though, so a player/coach role seems a very likely path for him.
