What's the delay with Hecky, this must create uncertainty.

Personally unless Connors got a release clause I don't really see the point in selling him for 500k he's probably worth more to us this season keeping him here if he helps keep us in the league that's worth more than 500k would get us and it will cost us more to replace him.

Totally agree. People seem to be forgetting the "we don't have to sell" message the club have been singing loud and clearly.

We are not in the same position we were for the last 5-10 years. We don't have to sell our assets cheaply to survive. What we can do is sell our assets at a high price to thrive.

I love Conor. I want Conor to stay. I think he will stay. But if a club wants him they will have to pay top top whack.

Ben and Patrick will not sell our club captain on the cheap. I don't care what Alan Nixon thinks. He may have the ear of one or two agents but he doesn't know the inside dealings of our football club.

I would love to see us rejecting offers even if it's to bump up the price.

He's the one player in our squad that I'd be most concerned about us losing. I don't doubt that there's interest, but Nixon seems to make out like things are much advanced than they probably really are. He does get a lot right, but he also gets plenty wrong.

If we do get offers, it'll be interesting to see what we hold out for. Especially as we seem willing to pay £500,000 (potentially £750,000) for a midfielder from a club in League Two, who also has twelve months remaining on his contract.

He gets more wrong than he does right Nixon. Only last week he said something would be finalised for bfc today. And nowt happened. I heard before millwall game from a good source he is happy at Barnsley and wanted to stay so I'd be suprised.

It's not about saying he is ours for at least another year so go away. Club leaders first to remind us that you don't keep a player whose head has been turned and wants to leave. Ideally he shines in the championship for us and decides at Christmas

Conor leaving would be very bad news. I know things change, but he seemed to indicate he wasn't going anywhere ahead of the play off final. His value to us is unlikely to be compensated by any sort of fee we get. We are also taking a major step up in quality in the Championship and we need our best players here and now to compliment those effectively training on the job.
