lots of online MMORPG...StarWars galaxies, World of Warcraft,Vanguard,EQ2,Lord of The Rings Online....so a decent card is essential for that

    RE: Why mate?

I might be being a bit un fair to them, but I have experienced problems in past as have a few of my collegues. That said, this was a few years ago.

If you've ordered from them in the past and they've been ok though, I don't see why my opinion should put you off.

    Fine for Football Manager.

I really stressed the games bit because some have suggested a graphics card upgrade may be appropriate. Unfortunately the PC you are looking at is a miniature one, not even a mATX tower. As a result it is probable there is simply no space in the case to put a new graphics card so you are probably stuck.
Adding memory is generally easy and cheap so don't let that worry you. However, it is likely it will simply not be possible to upgrade the graphics capablilities.

As for Vista, you can buy an OEM disk for £65. This is the system builder edition and is not amenable to hardware changes. In order to purchase system builder edition, you have to buy it with a "non-peripheral PC component". I tend to buy (and bin) these

It is my understanding that these have to be a "clean" install on an empty hard disk - to upgrade from XP without losing data you need the more (~doubly) expensive Retail edition, not the OEM. However, Vista Premium can be done for £70 including your fan, should you wish to do so in the future.

    What Fan ????.

Football or the 'rotating' type. Does Vista need an upgrade in the cooling fan ?

    The rotating type.

No upgrade required. But you cannot buy the cheaper OEM version of Vista unless you buy a "non-peripheral PC component" at the same time - it's a condition of sale.

I simply linked to a case fan because, at 99p it is about the cheapest internal PC component you can buy! You don't need to fit it, most of mine end up in the bin.

Got MSN Premium 3 years ago. (£60 p.a.) Have now gone back to Hotmail as Premium is woefully slow.. Wasn't worth the additional amount for the extras. Try it before you buy it.
