Don't feel confident about anything at the club at the moment Helen.
However I do feel fairly certain that the people who are screaming for heads on pitchforks don't have any clue about what the future would hold if these owners did leave us in the lurch.
I've not yet seen any constructive, reasonable, considered, or sustainable ideas for the survival of the club if these people do indeed off load us.

If I'm wrong please let me know and point me in the direction of our future......

It would look more credible if there logo was Board out.It seems very childish to single out one man who in all fairness is no more or less culpable than any other board member.
I might start a facebook partition "Recruitment team out".

Isnt conway on the recruitment team? People are genuinely concerned about the silence and the noises coming out of the club. Can you not understand that? I think going through the supporters trust would be a better way of going about things but the page seems to be growing in numbers.

And who was on the recruitment team this summer?

Remember we had no CEO at the time and the Head Coach wasn't involved.

The current owners, paid an initial amount of £7.2m for 80% ownership. They were contracted to pay a further £1m pa over the next 4 years. So far their self sustainable approach has combined losses of around £5m (balance sheet cash has all but disappeared) and they have taken out £750k to meet an instalment payment to the previous owners. So their contribution to the running costs of the club is -£750k.

They own the club and can do whatever they want but the idea that without them the club is doomed is not true.

Yes he was acting CEO until Kalhid came. That doesn't mean he was involved in player identification.

You know you can criticise him? He's not going to hunt you for sport. I'm comfortable in saying that in the past he's done good work for us. But now, he isn't. Far from it.

    Why can't you admit this?

I too would like to hear more from the CEO.Hopefully at the moment he's helping conclude some new signings.
My main concern at the moment is on the pitch where I feel the recruitment team could and should have done better.
Off field concerns will be sorted out between the groups involved. So while I'm concerned I don't unduly stress about things out of my control. As my parents used to say "they all want there heads knocking together".

What do you want me to say? I'll not blame one bloke when theres a board of directors.I think thats fair and democratic.
The issues that need resolving should be a collective not a witch hunt on one bloke.

I'll leave you to it then. If you're so blindly in awe of him then it's all yours.

Now Fonzie thats a very childish and throw away comment. How my views are "blindly in awe of him " is quite offensive to a fellow supporter.I'll say it again I'll blame the board for any shortcomings but I won't join in a witch hunt on one man.I would like to think I've taken a mature view on things if you can't see that fair enough.

It's a throw away comment because we're going round in circles. You've proven time and again that you won't criticise Mr Conway for anything. At all. Ever. Remember the lies about Visas? Remember the Reds Reserved Plus? I've been through everything else umpteen times on here and i don't need to list them again now.

And why Conway? He's the mouth. He's the one that when everything is running smoothly and we're doing well is the public front of The Board. He's in the away end taking the adulation. Well when things turn then he has to take responsibility too. He has to front up. I've just read his 27th August 2021 update. Utter twaddle about recruitment (that apparently you say he had no role in), the ground, paying for the club etc.

Thats why I aim my moaning at Conway.

3 relegations in 5 seasons under these charlatans.

One of the seasons we didnt go down was due to another club getting a points deduction.

Thought him and james cryne worked together at 1st in regards the spreadsheet. But maybe that has now broken down with in another thread allegedly none of the payments made towards the crynes have been paid.

I'm aware of all the information you've posted in your first para. I've seen it repeated on here ad infinitum.
Re your second para, not for one minute am I suggesting they "can do whatever they want".
Nor do I think we're doomed without them.

However, a well constructed alternative would be a better place to start than the apparent feeding frenzy which seems to be happening right now.
If this Forum of 1000 ish people truly represents the 12000 ish hardy souls who still attend, then by way of moving this **** show forward someone (the Supporters Trust?) needs to engage with them - not only the 80%ers but also the Crynes and The Council on behalf of the fans.

Otherwise we might not be totally doomed but we probably will be doomed enough to have to re-build from Ground Zero.
