He's progressing well then? IIRC we bought him from some obscure side in Ireland for a nominal fee (50K?) he's 10 times the player he was when he signed, and he's got room to improve. Perfect for us.

I have a lot of time for Cotter. You can see that he genuinely loves the Club and is grateful to be here. Despite his deficiencies, which he has, he always gives 100% I can't ask for any more than that.

I think we'll end up off-loading him for a decent ROI and he'll leave with my best wishes whenever that day comes.

Interesting take on Lofthouse, as he got absolute rave reviews at the clubs he was on loan at. He's looked to have something about him in his cameo appearances for us, but I can't quite see where he fits in.

 

I was very excited by Lofthouse, and to be fair to lad, he's barely played in his actual natural position. Not sure how people can form a judgement on him with how little he's played, fine with him being loaned out but after rave reviews like you said, id be hesitant to let him go.
