    Re: That contradicts

In that case it must just be Devaney's wishful thinking. Bobby would make an excellent coach and club ambassador in my opinion. If Hill doesnt like him as a playerd then if I were him/Don I'd have him signed up to a five year contract now, coach/ambassador with a part time players role. Get him coaching the players and going out to schools one day a week then playing when needed.

My honest opinion is that it is very hard to see Hassell playing another game in a Barnsley shirt. I wholeheartedly hope I am wrong, but I just don't think KH has ever had him in his plans. I don't think KH's job depends on this at all. I would expect KH to still be in charge should we be relegated, whether rightly or wrongly is open to debate. But regarding Hassell, I still think he has a lot to offer to team and club, he ran the games against Swansea and Bristol up until his sending off.

    But what do I know..

    I believe Bobby Hassell

Can still make a positive contribution to the first team, but accept it's the manager's decision to make, not mine. I feel a player/coach role could be beneficial to both parties, similar to the one rumoured to be offered to Kevin Kilbane earlier this year.

Definitely BigLil, player/coach role would be fantastic, one I would like to think Bobby would relish as well.

I imagine Hill will justify getting rid of BH by saying the money is needed to cover the new wages. I said in a post last week that it will be announced on the back of good news. I would love to see BH get another year, but dont see it hapenning now. The only way i could justify it in my mind is if BH is on mega-bucks and his replacement is on much lower wages, but thats probably not the case. I expect to see Bobby sign on loan for a local club tomorrow (either Leeds, Owls,Blades or Donny, Notts County, or Scunny).
BTW if you are reading this Phil, I don't have any inside info. I don't really know BH - I just said I did to wind you up. Anything I ever posted was either from t'internet or twitter feeds of people who know BH, so please dont try and get him into trouble.

I suppose a sighing could be a soft blow. It just depends how you purse your lips. Whistle never know.
