    stead is a quality player I,d rather have him than the geezer from motherwell steads played at a higher level all through his career.

    Heard Flickers on radio sheff this morning saying he washopeful Crainie would sign & Cywka was ready to sign.

    He's even said it was his choice to leave us, so how much Andy Booth went for shouldn't bother him.

    Well, if it was easy we'd all be doing it.

    Hignett got 20 in 99/2000. Position in that Bassett side is hard to pin down. That season Hignett played as advanced as you could possibly get without defecting to the other side. Off Shipperley, not a lot of choice with Hristov and Shearon lame and Bruce second choice to Robbie Van Der Laan. Season before, Craig got 8 from conventional midfield. Strikers strike, I say. He struck, therefore he is. :D

    He wasn't a centre forward or a target man, but in less vague terms, strikers basically know where the net is.
