    Poor start but a good recovery second innings. Nice to see Hope and Hill building a big partnership but it’s going to be hard to force a win tomorrow on this wicket

    Yorkshire will probably try and play T10 style for an hour to get a quick hundred and have a bowl for 30-45 minutes before lunch.

    Shouldn't be losing to teams like Leicestershire. Not when you get over 500 batting first at home. They declared too soon.

    Can’t get that declaration right can we. With Patterson as captain we were too defensive. Now with Lyth in charge it’s too tempting for the other side?

    I said in the thread yesterday that I thought they would bowl for 30-45 minutes before lunch, so that would be declaring around 12:15. I'm not sure on the exact time but they definitely declared before midday.
