    Like our expensive temporary imports, Jonny will not be around Headingley for too long. I'll predict two, maybe three, games then we won't see him again this season.

    I hope after he plays the two home county championship games, they let him play a T20 before he goes off on international duty. Finlay Bean had another good knock in the same game.

    It’s to be hoped we’re not paying Mickey Edwards too much …. He is only grade cricket standard in Australia and is in his late twenties with few games experience in his belt

    Great to have YJB back for two games. It's a shame we don't have Root who's spent the IPL being the water boy, but then he played Golf instead of trying to keep Yorkshire up last season.

    Good camera coverage today on YouTube by the way. Almost Sky Sports standard from Yorkshire Cricket TV. Much better than the usual buffering stuff with only one camera that doesn’t move from the square. Must resist watching all day though!
