    Slightly off topic but an interesting podcast called Hitman for Hire by David Wiese on the life of a freelance T20 cricketer, including his time at Yorkshire and Northern Superchargers. I’m about half way through it and found it really interesting so far.

    We declared 90 odd behind when Brook reached his 100. We were 2 overs behind in the first innings. We bowled Moriarty and Lyth who got through nearly 8 overs in about quarter of an hour before the rain came.

    Hope at Gloucestershire on Friday that Root can get off to a good start.

    I’ve listened to the T20 one and thought it was good and very interesting.

    By the way, that’s the first pod cast I’ve ever listened to !
    Didn’t even know what they were until fairly recently
