    Same with England. Think it's 3k a day they are unavailable for but I also could be miles out. That's Centrally contracted players. Willy etc won't pay that but Bairstow would....

    Yeah full time younger and faster but we've a load of injuries, would like to see us at full strength but i think would edge it. A long way to go yet and it's down to McDermott to sort it,

    I’m pretty sure that the the ECB effectively take a cut of any IPL money that they make, in exchange for a ‘No Objection Certificate’ that each player needs to be released to play in the IPL. I’d imagine the money comes from that and is given back to the counties.

    I thought Ballance may get in but perhaps his fitness isn’t good enough yet.
    With injuries and international games ( and other reasons ) we are without numerous players but it’s a good challenge for the “lads”.

    The mind boggles mate (not your comment but the fact he's available for selection.) . Balance acused of racial comments, still in post. Some employees indiscriminately sacked with no recourse. Only in the courts.
    How does that work.
    I wonder if they'll not consider him at all for the first team. Given the possible uproar.

    Batting first and a debut for Luxton. That's a inexperienced batting line up. Probably a reason Cadmore has decided to leave if he can't get four day games even with that team.

    I honestly have no idea about his situation other than he got a boat load of runs for the seconds last week.
    So, is he banned from playing for England ( he’s had his chances anyway ) but not Yorkshire ?
    Why have Yorks CCC not charged him ?

    A formal statement at the beginning of the season by Goughy said he was absent because of a stress related mental health problem.

    Anyway, Yorkshire could’ve done with him today

    Because by some miracle with all the sackings not one so called racist was an actual player....Even though Gary himself has admitted using the language he's not been fined or sacked or punished at all it seems. Yet staff who don't play Cricket and haven't been found guilty of anything got sacked.

    You seen the lad luxton who’s debuting today at Scarborough?

    Played a few one day games but his first four dayer today. He looks like he’s had to twag double maths to be there! Apparently he’s 19 but looks no older than my 14 yr old!
