    It doesn't work like that, you're not interpreting the data correctly. There isn't a correlation between positive cases and tests reported on a particular day. To use today's data as an example, the 179,756 positive cases reported aren't from the 2,031,729 tests done. The positive cases will be from tests done several days ago.

    If you get COVID make sure you catch it quick everyone's getting wise to Omicron now. Interesting how positive tests are sky rocketing now people know it won't kill you.

    Cases today are 5% lower than last Thursday which is just over 10,000 less cases despite far more testing than last week. The Scientists enjoying their moment in the spotlight still will tell us cases will go back up now kids are back at school. The more positive people will see the first drop on cases on a week by week basis for a month as a turning point. Fingers crossed we are more like South Africa by the end of the month.

    I agree with both sentiments and I raise this on a regular basis. Either play him, send him back, or don't pick him. Walton has more chance of coming off the bench.

    Recovery times;

    Woodrow and Helik before the transfer window close on 31/01.
    Halme - No idea.
    Oulare - In about 3 years time, ready for a stint on someone else's bench.

    You still can't make those sort of comparisons. Test results have been all over the place for the last few weeks, with big delays in some parts of the country and smaller delays elsewhere. You should be looking at the specimen date data...not the date reported data...and even then ignore the latest four or five days until the data lag catches up.

    Saw an article saying that we have to play the cup game, even if it means calling up the youth team. Trouble is, would that then mean any kids that play Saturday then count towards the 14 players available that mean you have to play the league games that follow?

    I wonder at what point they end up cancelling the league season? Might be our ticket to survival!

    Just think if we have ten missing, have to give a few debuts and they impress? It might give Poya something to think about when the ten are back.

    Really interesting no postponements yet, as said it looks like has to be played or forfeited ? What happens midweek and next weekend back to loads off due to Covid just doesn’t seem right to me.
