How do you go on about booking your 2nd Jab
I had my 1st one 7 week ago and they said I would receive a text in 2 weeks to book the 2nd one but ive not received anything

 

I booked mine when I booked my first, can't even remember it giving me an option not to?

 

I got text reminders to book even though I'd booked my 2nd jab at the same time as my first
. Just ring wherever you had your first Jab.

 

You don't need to book it, just go to one of the walk-in centres. Took my lad for his 2nd last weekend; just turned up....straight in.

 

I had to book both at the same time. There’s quite a few drop in centres around so you could always just go along to one of those for it once 8 weeks have passed.

 

Think you may have read it wrong bud. You get a text 2 weeks before you are due your 2nd jab, not 2 weeks after your first

 

did you book via gp or website?

If the latter I think you can ring 119 if you haven’t had reminder

if gp, then ring gp

 

Was told to book my second appointment on the NHS website the day after my first. Kirklees has had a lot of walk in jab centres but they say it has to be eight weeks so in a few weeks I might try one and cancel my second appointment.

 

Was supposed to be 12 weeks now 9 between so you still. Have two weeks

 

Honley is where I went for my first. Some parts of the country have given second jabs 3-4 weeks later to not waste doses and to get more people double vaccinated. The Huddersfield Examiner wrongly reported you could go for your second after four weeks but Kirklees Council tweeted eight weeks.

 

There's loads of walk in centres now. I know in Sheffield there's the Octagon, and I think the Crucible. Although I know the ones around here are only giving you the 2nd dose if it's been 8 weeks since your first one.

 

took grand daughter ( 18 & 6 days ) to priory yesterday morning, turned up after seeing facebook link https://www.facebook.com/nhsbarnsleyccg/ . had pfizer
told her to come back for second jab in 3/4 weeks when pop in available
brilliant

I had a look but it was only up to Thursday.

 

I think you can just walk in to Priory Campus... Also a place at Dodworth for under 40s

 

There’s been concern about some outlets giving the 2nd vaccine too close to the first which would have an effect on how efficient it would be.
