Re: I would like a player of that calibre of course What be taken over by a Russian billionaire and release profits of a loss of 10.5m? I'll take it.
Re: I would like a player of that calibre of course If we can, we should have him back - it's a no-brainer for me, unless his salary expectations have gone beyond our means now. The best aspect is that he knows how to play as striker from a wide position - he preferred wide-left - and that is what Johnson will want to play with five across midfield. With him and Winnall wide and one of Waring, or Ibehre central, that would be some strike-force. Get him in. He has scored well enough this season for the appearances made and can shoot bullets from distance.
Vaz Te and O'Grady too. The problem with Davies for me was, that he wasn't even half the player he was once Vaz Te left. If he's in the right team, he's a cracking player, if not, he's a waste of a shirt.
Didn't Flicker say we would have won his first game in charge at Peterborough if Davis didn't play. Not for me thanks
fook me betty...there are some desperados on here. Are we really reduced to wanting players back who couldn't wait to get out of the door?......hardly set the world alight has he.....3 years older now as well. Plus he was lazy as fook. It's a no from thereev, Amanda, David and Simon n all....four fekking gret big no's
Without exaggeration that was the worst penalty I have ever seen, it was a shameful attempt that gave the impression that he didn't give a *****. It wasn't only high but was way wide too. The trajectory of the ball defied the laws of physics and his body language afterwards was 'oh well, never mind'.
